Mattingly Spence

Mattingly is a research associate on McGuireWoods Consulting’s Virginia government relations team. She focuses on assisting clients with research and tracking legislative developments across multiple industry sectors. Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Mattingly was a Governor’s Fellow during the summer of 2023 where she worked on the policy team assisting with research and meeting coverage across multiple policy areas. Mattingly graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia in 2023 with a B.A. in government and a minor in psychology. She was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity at the University of Virginia.
