McGuireWoods Consulting’s Clayton Cox quoted in Financial Times

President Joe Biden’s historic decision to step away from the Democratic nomination and back Vice President Kamala Harris led to an avalanche of stories about what the party needs to do to win in November. McGuireWoods Consulting Vice President Clayton Cox — who previously served as the national finance director for the Democratic National Committee and developed the fundraising launch plan for Harris joining the ticket in 2020 — spoke with the Financial Times about Harris’ fundraising acumen. In the July 22, 2024, article, Cox noted that “Harris has the political skill, talent and the infrastructure to raise a ton of money and give Democrats the war chest needed to win in November.
