Bree Raum

Bree Raum serves as co-leader of the firm’s federal energy practice, bringing more than two decades of experience at the intersection of energy policy, government affairs and regulatory strategy. She counsels clients on federal legislative and regulatory developments affecting the energy, environmental and infrastructure sectors. Bree helps organizations navigate policy uncertainty, assess political and business risks, as well as identify opportunities in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Prior to joining the firm, Bree was a senior policy advisor and co-chair of the energy and infrastructure industry group at Arnold & Porter, where she provided strategic guidance on congressional, regulatory and executive branch developments impacting a broad range of energy sector clients.

Bree has also held senior corporate leadership positions in the energy industry. At Air Products, she served as executive director of government affairs for the Americas, leading federal and international advocacy efforts for the company’s hydrogen and industrial gas businesses. Earlier, at BP America, she managed federal government relations initiatives related to renewable energy, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, carbon capture and storage and hydrogen technologies.

Throughout her career, Bree has represented a wide range of energy interests before Congress and federal agencies. She served as vice president of federal affairs for both the American Clean Power Association and the American Wind Energy Association, where she advocated on tax, infrastructure and energy policy issues critical to the renewable energy industry. She also served as senior director of federal affairs for the American Gas Association where she led advocacy efforts on energy efficiency, environmental policy, tax matters and appropriations affecting the nation’s natural gas utilities.
